State Association Members

The Association is registered as a company limited by Guarantee with each state member holding holding one share and appointing one director to the National Board, AMSA is registered as a Tax Deductable recipient and has been given authority by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) to remove the word "Limited" in accordance with our constitution.

AMSA maintains a central register of sheds for distribution of the register to State Members. Registration forms to AMSA and the State Members shall be the same form and shall be located on the AMSA website and shall be available in print and electronic formats. 

AMSA shall always have only State Members as shareholding members.

All Sheds registered as members with AMSA are automatically deemed to be members of their State Association as long as

  1. It has registered with the AMSA and qualifies with all compliances that are required of AMSA and is geographically located in the state of the Association.

  2. The Shed has provided AMSA with proof of Public Liability Insurance from an Australian Approved Insurer.
